ASIS supports the development of country and subregional networks that respond to local priorities while remaining connected to the wider Asian community.
These networks may:
- Organize local scientific and professional activities
- Identify country-specific implementation priorities
- Support local training and mentorship
- Engage governments and health systems
- Connect institutions and professionals
- Share country experiences with the regional community
- Promote locally led research
- Contribute to regional ASIS activities
Country networks will operate according to ASIS governance standards while maintaining sufficient flexibility to respond to local contexts.
