Asian Society for Implementation Science

About ASIS

Who We Are

The Asian Society for Implementation Science is a multidisciplinary and inclusive professional society working to advance implementation science across Asia.

ASIS was established in response to the growing need for a regional platform that connects people working to improve the implementation of evidence-informed interventions, programs, policies, and practices.

Implementation science activities are increasing across Asia. However, expertise, training opportunities, professional networks, funding, and institutional support remain unevenly distributed. Researchers and practitioners may also work in isolation across disciplines, countries, and sectors.

ASIS addresses this gap by creating a shared regional community for knowledge, capacity, collaboration, leadership, and impact.

The ASIS Secretariat is being established in Nepal as a not-for-profit organization, while the Society’s membership, leadership, and activities extend across Asia and beyond.

Our Vision

A future in which evidence-informed interventions, programs, and policies are effectively, equitably, and sustainably implemented to improve health and well-being across Asia.

Our Mission
